Priyanka Chopra May Star in Shahid's Mom Upcoming Film!

According to sources "Neelima Azim"(Shahid Kapoor’s mother) approached priyanka to star in her Upcoming flick and It will be her's directional debut. Though Priyanka has to take a decision about the movie, its interesting as Shahid is aware of this development and has no objections to his mother`s choice, despite speculations suggesting a rift between him and Priyanka after the former failed to turn up at latter’s birthday party.

When asked about it Neelima confirmed it by saying “Yes, I met up with Priyanka at her house. She is the only girl in the industry whom I have approached. She fits the role”. When asked about Shahid and Priyanka’s much talked about relationship, she said, “As Shahid`s mother, I know what the truth is. We are a progressive family. If somebody has a cosy and friendly relationship with a girl, it does not necessarily mean that they are physically and emotionally involved or committed to each other.

She added " I got along very well with priyanka. Its was very professional but warm relationship. Of course, it will all depend on who the male actor is. Priyanka is in a certain league. If I get a damn good actor, but not a top star, I don`t expect her to step in. But then, she may still sign up due to the fact that she loved the character which I want her to play”.
